What are the different user types?

There are 3 different types of users, to accomodate easy, hassle free member onboarding. 

1. Full user   

A full user is a user that has his/her own Jamiipay profile.

What is required to create a full user?

  • Userid (either a phone number, email or username)
  • Password
  • 4 digit pincode
  • First and last name

What can you do as a full user?

  • Sign into the app and view data in your groups
  • Receive notifications
  • Can be part of multiple groups
  • Create a new group

2. Limited user

A limited user is a user that is a member of a group, but cannot login to the app.

What is required to create a limited user?

  • User id (either a phone number, email or username)
  • First and last name
 

What can you NOT do as a Limited user?

  • You can not sign into the app
 

What can you do as a Limited user?

  • Receive notifications if a verified phone or email has been provided (the administrator of the group can do that)
  • Can be part of one or multiple groups
  • Can be changed into a full user

3. Basic user

This is the most basic user profile you can create. If you need speedy onboarding, or to onboard users that don’t need access to their profile (for instance, if they don’t have access to a mobile phone), you can start with a basic user profile.

What is required to create a limited user?

  • First and last name
 
 

What can you NOT do as a Basic user?

  • You cannot sign into the app
  • You cannot be part of multiple groups
  • You cannot receive notifications
 
 

 What can you do as a Basic user?

  • Can be changed into a limited or full user
